As UNT's Assistant Director for Research Communications, Heather:

• Serves as the communications specialist for the Office of Research and Innovation
• Develops and executes strategic communication plans to effectively promote research initiatives such as UNT’s Institutes of Research Excellence
• Serves as a team lead for research materials (print and digital)
• Plans, writes and edits content for a variety of research collaterals, including the research website (research.unt.edu), UNT Research magazine and the corresponding monthly e-newsletter
