As UBSC's project director, Jan:

  • oversees the initiation and execution of projects and through daily monitoring of UBSC's workflow
  • follows the division's strategic goals and mission and stakeholder needs, by controlling both schedule and budget to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of UBSC products
  • manages multi-disciplinary teams to guide projects through all stages of production
  • verifies vendors' products and services meet quality and quantity specifications
  • identifies actual or potential risks to projects and helps teams resolve or mitigate as needed
