As Interim vice president and Sr. Associate Vice President of University Brand Strategy
and Communications, Kelley:
- Reports to UNT's president and collaborates with fellow members of the President's
Cabinet and leaders from virtually every area on campus regarding UNT's reputation
and image
- Serves as the chief marketing and communications strategist and aligns strategies
to best promote the university's mission to increase UNT's national reputation for
academic and community excellence
- Oversees the university's primary communications channels while identifying marketing
strategies to help grow enrollment in key areas and improve strategies to more effectively
expand UNT's brand reputation
- Provides strategic direction for UBSC's teams and oversees the division's work in
enhancing the institution brand by employing the full array of marketing and communication
tactics for internal and external communications such as advertising, integrated marketing
campaigns, media relations, social media, photography, videos, websites, and a host
of print and digital tools
- Serves as the chief institutional spokesperson in public forums, including crisis,
event and issue management
- Manages the campus-wide Brand, Marketing and Public Relations Committee
- Interacts with the UNT System and other System-member institutions, as needed
